46Mechanics Shattered Space is a new concept we implemented starting with our September 2024 timeline using our updated hyperwall code (changes 2612). From a code/galaxy map perspective, there is a large impenetrable block in the center of the map that requires players to navigate around it. If a Shattered Space hyper wall is in between you and a destination, you will see 'WALL' on the calculate list and it will give an error. 46In-Universe Lore 225 years ago, The Great Galactic War engulfed the galaxy in a relentless conflict that spanned 12 grueling years as the Sith Empire waged a ferocious campaign against the Galactic Republic and neutral worlds alike, leaving all sides battered and on the brink of collapse. The war culminated in a dramatic confrontation between the planets Corellia and Ruusan, where both factions unleashed devastating superweapons in a desperate bid to secure victory and end the hostilities. The Republic's Stellar Shatterer and the Sith's Voidstorm Engine clashed with ruinous results. The true nature of the battle remains shrouded in mystery, as few survived the cataclysmic event - none more notable than the death of Sith Lord Darth Demonis, whose ambition had sparked the war itself. The battle tore through the very fabric of space, creating a perilous barrier of gravitational distortions, radiation storms, and debris fields that prevent normal hyperspace travel. This No Man's Land stands today as a haunting legacy of the war's destructiveness, a monument to the galaxy's darkest hour. 46Future Plans As the timeline progresses, we plan to reveal paths into the heart Shattered Space.
