help force_guidelines
Force-sensitive characters on LOTJ are held to a similar high standard as clan leaders and app'd characters - they should help set a good example to the rest of the player base for quality roleplay and overall immersion. While we dont expect Force-sensitive characters to be serious all the time, remember the influence you have on your fellow players. 21We expect Force-sensitive characters to embrace and roleplay their alignment. Star Wars is a tale of the conflict between good and evil, and your character should reflect this core theme. Whether youre playing a Jedi or a Sith, we want you to lean into the beliefs, ideologies, and moral codes that define your alignment and avoid sitting on the sidelines as a "grey" Force user. 21The way you portray your character sets the tone for others. This includes activity in PK situations. With great power comes great responsibility, and as a Force-sensitive character, we expect you to be selective and thoughtful when it comes to player killing. Its not about running around and taking out every opponent you can; instead, your actions should be purposeful and enhance the narrative. When you choose to PK another character, ensure that the roleplay leading up to it is meaningful, well-considered, and adds story depth for those involved. 21If the staff notices that a character is drifting away from these guidelines, we'll start by having a conversation with you to address the issue. If it persists, consequences may include your alignment being set to neutral, loss of Force levels, or even a ban from playing Force-sensitive characters. Forcers are characters that new players will look to for an example of what LOTJ is about, and experienced players will look towards to help shape the timeline. We expect you to embrace the role and contribute to the game in a positive way. If you have questions, want to explore ideas, or need further clarification, 21please reach out on immchat.
