Every help file you can read in-game, straight from the running game.

help aconfig
Syntax: aconfig +/-<option>

This command allows you to configure the actions of your ship while on
autopilot and unmanned. Typing 'ACONFIG' by itself shows you the 
current settings. Placing a '+' or '-' next to an option will turn it 
on or off, respectively.

The options and what they do when disabled are:
[-sentinel     ] Ship is allowed to move about on autopilot.
[-pirate       ] Ignores pirate threats unless attacked.
[-autoshield   ] Does not raise shields when under attack.
[-nocapture    ] Does not engage self-destruct when captured.
[-usechaff     ] Does not use chaff when a missile is detected.
[-uselaser     ] Will not fire turbolasers, autoblasters, or lasers.
[-useion       ] Will not fire ion cannons.
[-uselauncher  ] Ship will not use missile-weapons in combat.
[-nointercept  ] Will use available interceptors when attacked.
[-clanpost     ] Will not attack ships from enemy clans.
[-radio        ] Will not request help from nearby clan ships.

The options and what they do when enabled are:
[+SENTINEL     ] Ship will hold its current location.
[+PIRATE       ] Automatically engages pirate threats.
[+AUTOSHIELD   ] Automatically engages shields when attacked.
[+NOCAPTURE    ] Arms Self-destruct when ship is captured.
[+USECHAFF     ] Uses chaff when a incoming missile is detected.
[+USELASER     ] Fires available turbolasers, autoblasters, and lasers.
[+USEION       ] Fires available ion cannons.
[+USELAUNCHER  ] Ship uses missile-weapons in combat.
[+NOINTERCEPT  ] Disabled on board interceptors unless scrambled.
[+CLANPOST     ] Will automatically attack enemy clan ships.
[+RADIO        ] Will request help from nearby clan ships when fighting.
