On Legends of the Jedi, it is common for the Galactic Empire clan to limit their ranks to only near-human races. Whether this is enforced is up to the clan leaders, but when in place, only the following races are readily accepted into the Empire: Alderaanian, Arkanian, Astromech, Balosar, Chiss, Corellian, Echani, Human, Kiffar, Lorrdian, Mandalorian, Miraluka, Mirialan, Naboo, Noghri, Protocol_droid, Sith, Umbaran, Wroonian, Zabrak Members of other races cannot join directly from the newbie academy, but may be inducted into the Empire with approval from the clan lead as exceptions to the rule.
