help bounty clanbounty

General Command
Syntax: bounties
Syntax: showbounty <ID #>

To place a bounty:
Syntax: bounty <target> <amount> <capture/disintegration>
Syntax: clanbounty <target> <amount> <capture/disintegration>

To remove a bounty (for a 50% refund):
Syntax: rembounty <target>

Sometimes, persons of interest hide where you can't reach them. Sometimes, you
don't want to bother chasing them down. Send a bounty hunter to do your dirty
work!

To use these commands, you must be in a bounty office. Typing 'bounties' by
itself will list all the currently unclaimed bounties. Using 'bounty', if a
character and bounty amount is specified, will place a bounty on the public
bounty list. Players have the option of placing a capture bounty or a
disintegration bounty (see note below) on a target. There is a minimum cost of
100,000 credits for capture and 1,000,000 credits for disintegrations. Bounties
must be placed against a specific person whom your character knows either by
greet or dub. Similarly, clans can use 'clanbounty' to place a bounty on a
target.

Bountier Responsibility
Any disintegration bounty that you place must have an IC reason and fulfill the
conditions covered in HELP PERM. The bountier will bear the onus of the RP and
will take the responsibility for all actions as a result of the bounty if a
restore case is submitted.

Frivolous Bounties
Having someone killed is serious business! To ensure that the bountier
understands this, bounties can only be removed by going through staff with a
good reason by the original bountier (or the clan leader if it is a
clanbounty).

If the character that places a bounty dies or deletes, public capture
bounties they placed are removed. Public disintegration bounties are then
automatically removed by the code between 4-6 weeks after the character's
death.
