So go ahead and go. If you don’t like the state of LotJ, no one forces you to play. LotJ is a PK AND RP mud. If you think the only thing there is to space combat is spamming, well, you clearly haven’t much time in space combat. Or maybe you were a moncal pilot last era, I dunno. A purely roleplay-based system for space combat is fine, but it will never be here on LotJ. That isn’t the kind of mud this is. How can you say 95% of LOTJ is hack’n’slash now when you’ve spent maybe a cumulative total of maybe 5 hours on the mud since a particular clan dissolved in the middle of last era?

There are plenty of threads on this subforum that devolved into a shitfest that would warrant a pissed off post like you did. This thread is not one of them; what we have here is a good collection of the pbase, newbies and oldbies and midbies alike, having a nice rational discussion about the pros and cons of a feature.

Perhaps you can stick to that RP Western Mud you advertised back in 2005?
