These items are likely placed in a queue if the volunteer coders decide that they’re good ideas. At that point they’ll likely be implemented or worked on as soon as the coders complete their current agendas/projects. It’s not that some of them aren’t great ideas, it’s that the code dudes generally are waist-deep in work. Being patient and understanding goes a long way.

how about a ‘standard’ rprog that puts a microphone-like effect in. Maybe…
you have a button sitting outside of a cell.
Push the button
all says (including says embedded in emotes) are echoed into the cell from the room the button’s in, and vice versa.edit:
pulling the button removes this effect.

You misunderstand my meaning.
To clarify.
Pushing the button turns on the ‘intercom’ between the room directly outside the cell and the cell itself. This effect lasts until the button is pulled.
While the ‘intercom’ is on, says outside of the cell are copied inside the cell via mpecho-like effect. says inside the cell are similarly copied via the same effect to the room where the button was pushed.
When the button is pulled, this effect ends.This will enable RP with prisoners even if the only people around aren’t a high enough rank to access the cells. Granted, it wouldn’t allow emotes to be copied, but still.

Could always just make it video interface instead of audio, using similar ideas as the holoprojector system

code is in place for that for the imaginitive builder, they can add a prog to load transmitters between two rooms tune then to a specific channel and turn them on when the prog is ended purge them. Before you say someone can fuck with them they can be made invisible with no long desc and a specified keyname so no player can use them.

Yeah, the clarification (read: change to prevent losing of argument) does prevent asshattery. From everything you said, it sounded like it would be exactly like current buttons are–announced to anyone and everyone in the clan base.
