Complaining that it makes it harder for PKers to find someone when they’re trying to kill them is kind of lame. Oh poor me, I have to actually do some real bounty hunter work to track someone, I can’t just show up and spam track or hope they’re randomly in the open on one of 4 planets people go to. Come on guys. However, adding extra planets for mostly government/cargo running could be alright as long as its set up properly. I just don’t know if having a bunch of planets in one system would really enhance anything. Having a bunch of systems so that people have to work for it, versus a half second hyper jump from one planet in the system to the other..would seem like a better fit. I dunno

Corellia I guess was a bad example, since it’s the rare example where there are multiple planets in one system. It’d be the exception, not the rule.

It wasn’t rare.
Alderaan had more than half a dozen planets, IIRC.
Coruscant had multiple planets, too. I don’t remember the names, but at least one of them was mentioned heavily in the Republic Commando books–it was a training level for clones.
If you add in habitated moons, I’d be harder pressed to think of a system that DIDN’T have multiples…

Stock SWR has an espionage skill called "locate" which gives you the planet name someone is on, so between a bounty hunter and a spy you could find anybody eventually if you were persistent enough, obviously hyperspace travel is relatively slow depending on the distance and people move around a lot, especially people with a bounty on their head, maybe bring back "locate" if you added this many planets.

Its was a leadership skill and it was called gatherinteligence. It told you what zone the player was in. Most of the time this was a planet zone

I should dig up my old suggestion for reworking bribe…
It had fun stuff like that. Basically, it let you convince a mob to do pretty much anything (unless they got a certain incorruptable flag) if the bribe was big enough; granted, some things were intentionally impossible even without the flag–like getting a clan mob to give you clan gear (>2,000,000c bribe, and thus impossible).
You could also find out where people were or were last seen… ships… a lot of stuff.
If it were put in these days, it could even be set up as a prorated scale just like call is–lower levels can do some things, while higher levels can do more, and so on.
