The Imperial Cog rotates on a black screen, before fading out to show a delegation of formally dressed politcians, bureaucrats and ambassadors at the end of a sit down meeting. The various diplomats are all smiles and handshakes as they conclude the meeting. A voice over begins, "Amy Apodacca, INN news with
a Quik Brief. Delegates from various core worlds met today on Coruscant to finalize the peace accords between The Rebel Alliance and The Galactic Empire. The Alliance has announced transitional plans to begin the formation of a New Republic to be formally christened Saturday evening on Coruscant itself." The canned footage transitions to show a debris field above Coruscant being salvaged, "The plans were announced after the defeat of the true Sith Dreadnaught Pureblood by the two governments. Some commentators have highlighted the absence of the Sith Inquisition from the Imperial delegation, as well as various military leaders from the Alliance, noting that perhaps a lasting peace free from old complications may be coming for embattled citizens of the core. A large celebration is planned, and all citizens are encouraged to attend." The footage changes to show Mos Eisley, "Speaking to the hope for new peace arrangements, Alliance officials successfully negotiated with the neutral government of Tatooine to bring the planet back under the jurisdiction of New Republic rule, noting a flourishing local economy following the short time the
