The Rebels achieve a major victory with the capture of the Emperor
The holoviewer fades to black before showing a soaring Phoenix aflame with green, blue, and silver lights behind it. As the Phoenix fades, a brown-robed Ithorian male is shown standing within a large, ancient audience chamber. "Beings of the galaxy... I am Master Tonaw Erdon of the Jedi Council," he says in a slow, deliberate voice as an off-screen droid provides translation, "As you may already be aware, today brought forth significant changes upon both Arkania and Alderaan... The peoples of Arkania have once again been liberated from Imperial tyranny, while those of Alderaan are free at long last."
The Ithorian continues after a pause, his voice becoming more somber and slow, "What many may not yet know... Is that during the efforts of myself and one of the Knights of our Order upon Alderaan... The Lord Emperor himself, Kai-Evelyn, arrived upon the world. He was accompanied by three of the Stormtrooper Corps, as well as... The fallen Jedi, Twyla Reev."
"...While we defended ourselves upon the surface of Alderaan, a brave effort of reinforcement, led by the MC80 Star Cruiser 'Honor', was dispatched from our operations in liberating Arkania." He pauses again, appearing to take a long, slow breath, before he continues, "The crew of this vessel were shown no mercy by the Imperial warships in the sector... However, a contingent of our own ground forces were able to slip through the blockade due to the selfless actions of the vessel's crew."
"In the end, I have come before you to announce... The capture and imprisonment of Lord Emperor Kai-Evelyn of the Galactic Empire." As the Ithorian finishes, the holocamera's view widens and reveals beings standing to either side of him: a yellow-skinned Human female, a Human female with a silk cloth over her eyes, and a green-skinned Human male, all with cylindrical lightsaber hilts displayed by their waists. "This marks... A turning point, in the galaxy's struggle against both the Empire, and the Sith. Our work is not finished. Our struggle will continue. But we will overcome this Empire and free the galaxy from its' oppression."
