The Rebel Alliance liberates Ithor in aftermath
Broadcasting Network [Ithor]: A circular insignia with the words "Rebel Alliance" appears on the screen, spiraling for a moment before the broadcast cuts to a mid-sized human male, looking bedraggled and quite unsettled, his face covered in grime. He looks directly at the camera, the lush forests of Ithor in the background behind him, and begins: "People of the Galaxy. As you have no doubt heard, the Rebel Alliance has freed Ithor from the Empire's grasp... but I feel compelled to show you what we found when we arrived. These scenes may be disturbing to many, but they must be seen..."
The footage shifts to the charred remains of a labor camp, the Imperial Cog hanging lopsided on a wooden fence that's been blasted away in parts. The pained cries of Wookiees pierce through the broadcast as figures in camouflage fatigues bearing the insignia of The Rebel Alliance come upon the scene, medkits in hand. Across the field lay dozens of dead and wounded Wookiees, along with limbs still smoldering from blast wounds. The soldiers tend to the wounded, carrying many from the scene for emergency treatment. Nearby, the surviving Wookiees gather, crying out in mourning of the dead.
The footage cuts back to Cygnus, as he continues: "Earlier today, as the Empire was being forced from this world, they showed just how far their cruelty and malice extends. They made this clear in their own broadcast as they strapped explosives to these sentient creatures. Their only "crime" was that they're not human. Ask yourselves, people of the galaxy, how safe you feel under Lord Emperor Kai-Evelyn's watch. If the scenes I've shown you trouble you, join us. Let us drive this evil from our lands and begin anew together -- free people, one and all. Channel 2460."
