Imperial Victory
The Empire shows space prowess above Arkania
Broadcasting Network [Coruscant]: The Imperial Cog spins onto a black screen as the usual trumpets and fanfare plays, before fading out to show a scene above Arkania where six massive MC80 class battleships can be seen surrounding a much smaller Imperial force consisting of only three Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, two outdated Victory-Class vessels, and a frigate. A pitched battle begins, and within seconds one of the Victory-Class vessels is destroyed by the overwhelming firepower of the Rebellion ships. A voice can be heard speaking as the scene unfolds on the screen. "Outmanned and outgunned during the Battle of Arkania, the Imperial Fleet turned the tide of battle against the Rebel Armada, at the cost of countless heroes crewing the VSD Bellicose."
The voice ceases for a moment as the scene continues, displaying the tide of battle turning within seconds of the loss of the VSD as one by one the Rebel squadrons are eliminated with turret fire from the assorted Imperial vessels and suddenly one of the Rebel MC80s violently explodes, followed moments later by another. Moments before the destruction of two more of the Rebel MC80s, the once mighty Rebel Armada flees the system, abandoning Arkania to the Empire. The voice picks back up after this, saying, "The Empire wishes to personally thank the families of the great heroes who did not make it off the Bellicose in time, your sacrifice allowed the superior training of the Imperial Navy to find victory in the Battle of Arkania. We will remember the Bellicose!"
