attrition and dark sorcery, they have finally crushed the last vestiges of the
Eternal Empire and the Sithari Conclave, forcing their rivals into the dust of
history. The Great Sith Schism&220 has concluded with a single, iron-fisted master
of the Sith lineages. Yet, as they move to consolidate rule, an ominous new
challenge has bled from the void.

Localized miasma anomalies &220have begun popping up across the galaxy, noxious
incursions of dense fog that give way to twisted growths and necrotic
abberations. Within this haze, ferocious Sithspawn Abominations &220and swift
&027Stalkers&220 have begun to manifest. Until recently, whispers among the galaxy's
pointed towards a terrifying pattern: this miasma appears drawn to planets
steeped in the Dark Side. Recent developments now challenge that belief, though
the heaviest concentrations of miasma infection are centered on the lava
hellscape of Mustafar &220and the Sith homeworld of Dromund Kaas&220.

The &088S&124i&088t&052h &088D&124o&052m&088i&124n&088i&052o&088n&220 has responded with a display of military force, deploying
elite legions to tackle miasma monstrosities on their planets head on.
Meanwhile, the &226S&220a&214r&208o&202s &026R&027e&033g&039e&045n&051c&050y&220 is actively reassuring its member worlds while
aggressively rebuilding its military to ensure it is never caught in the
Dominion's shadow or the Miasma's reach.

As scientists across the galaxy scramble to study these infections with
sophisticated new tech, the motives of their patrons remain divided. Even in the
face of this spreading blight, old rivalries endure; factions continue to
maneuver and exploit the chaos to their own ends, for in this new era, power
belongs to those who seize it and the only thing more dangerous than the miasma
blight is a rival left unchecked.
