Writing Buffer

LotJ utilizes a built-in buffer for players to use when entering larger bodies
of text for specific commands such as description, history, notes, etc. While
in the buffer, you have enhanced options for formatting, review, replacement,
etc.

In-Buffer Editing Commands
/a abort editing
/l list buffer
/w list buffer raw (no line numbers, with color codes)
/c clear buffer
/d [line] delete line
/g <line> goto line
/i <line> insert line
/r <old> <new> global replace
/n force a new line
/f format text ( to fit screen )
/! <command> execute command (do not use another editing command)
/s save buffer

Webbuffer
A new web-based buffer was introduced in 2022. If you have the config
+webbuffer command toggled on, a link will now appear when you open up the
in-game buffer that sends you to a specific webpage to edit your buffer
contents there. See changes 2196 for more information.

Mobile Clients
Many mobile clients (such as Blowtorch) have reserved the "/" key as a
client-specific key. So if these commands are not working for you, try to
substitute the "\" key instead!
