Legends of the Jedi has a vibrant Discord community where our players spend
most of the off-game time chatting about everything. We have implemented
numerous Discord integrations with LotJ so that (once you've synced your
Discord and player accounts), you're able to chat on the OOC channel, or even
field questions from staff in your DMs!

How to Sync your Discord Account
1. Join our Discord server.
2. Adjust your Discord Privacy Settings to "Allow direct messages from server
members". This is only required briefly to respond to a message from our
Discord bot (LotJ#3592). HOWEVER, if you wish to receive offline IMM and RPC
messages, you will need to leave the setting on.
3. Find your Discord UUID as outlined here:

4. Take your UUID (which is a long number) and enter this command on LotJ:
account discorduuid <UUID>
5. The LotJ bot will immediately message you in Discord. Respond with CONFIRM
(all caps) to verify your account.

Synced Account Features
Once your account is synced, you have access to a few commands and channels:
- The #ooc channel allows you to chat seamlessly with connected players.
- If you keep the privacy setting to allow server DMs, the staff will be able
to send messages to you that you can respond to through the LotJ bot's DMs.
- !who provides basic player numbers
- !uptime displays how long the MUD has been running and the current buildID

The LotJ website is a great resource for newbie guides, the galaxy map, and
links to other helpful tools. Applications forms for special characters, clans,
developments, RPC, etc., are all submitted and processed through the website.

Our Facebook and Twitter are generally used to used to push out major changes
and EoE/EoT updates to players that haven't played in some time.
