Syntax: takedrug <spice name>
Spice is the illicit drug of choice in the Star Wars galaxy. Smugglers can
refine raw spice into a product that players can consume for different buffs in
combat at the expense of having potentially severe side effects. The more spice
a character consumes, the more blood toxicity they gain. As the benefits from
spice wear off, side effects kick in based on your toxicity level. Side effects
can range from temporary blindness and gradual loss of health to instant
incapacitation. Taking more spice can temporarily stave off the symptoms, but
theyll be even worse when they come back!
The affected command will display both your spice buff and any withdrawal
symptoms after the spice wears off.
Spice comes in many types, and has two values: Potency and toxicity. Potency
determines how long the buff lasts, and toxicity measures how much the spice
poisons you. Some spice will give minor buffs while poisoning you for a short
while, and some can give a significant boost but are much more toxic.
Mastery of the NARCOTICS science will allow smugglers to refine spice with
substantially lower toxicity. They will also be able to see a spices potency
and toxicity when examining it.
