Whats a smuggler without the ability to smuggle? LOTJs smuggling system
functions similarly to the cargo commands, but has its own risks and rewards.
Professional smugglers can trade in contraband to skip needing a cargo pass,
paying local clan taxes, and avoid trade embargos.
No smuggler is perfect. Failing the skill check (trafficking) when buying or
selling contraband runs the risk of alerting the authorities, possibly leading
to you being WANTED on the planet and attacked by local police. What determines
a successful smuggle attempt? A better skill percentage will make your day
easier. High planetary police budgets, customs agents and platform security
will not.
