The Looking For Roleplay (LFR) system is used to help players connect for
roleplay experiences. Given the size of the world, it can sometimes be difficult
to run into another player who is interested in engaging in similar roleplay.
This system helps address that by allowing players to create, schedule, and
publicize roleplay locations and events.
To add an event to the system, players can go to a public location and use the
&014lfr create <title>&007 command. The title is limited to 60 characters and can
contain letters, numbers, punctuation, and color codes. Creating a session will
put you into an editor to describe the event in detail.
Your new session will be a &012Draft&007. You can edit the description at any time from
anywhere using &014lfr description <ID>&007. You must also set a start time with &014lfr
starttime <ID>&007 using the format: &014lfr starttime 3 September 15 2025 3:20 pm&007.
When your session is ready, use &014lfr publish <ID>&007 to make it public. This will
change its status from &012Draft&007 to &003Planned&007 if the start time is in the future. The
session will automatically become &010Active&007 when it's started and a player is
present at the location. You can also use &014lfr publish <ID> now&007 to publish an
event with the current time as the start time.
If you see an event that interests you, use the &014lfr view <ID>&007 command to pull up
more details. If you've decided to join the event, you can use &014lfr rsvp <ID>&007 to
let others know you're on your way. This helps other players gauge interest
based on participation.
If your event is on the move and not anchored in one room, you can use &014lfr
mobile <ID>&007 to mark it as a &011Mobile&007 session. Mobile sessions are always
considered active and will expire after two hours of no updates from the
creator.
A session's status will change automatically based on player presence and its
scheduled time.
&010Active&007: The host or other players are present at the location.
&003Planned&007: The session has been published, but has not yet started.
&006Inactive&007: The host is not currently present at the session location.
&011Mobile&007: The host is on the move and may not be at the listed location.
&012Draft&007: This is your private, unpublished session.
&001Expired&007: The session has concluded or been inactive for too long.
