So, it’s looking like the mud is done. Now would be a -great- time to start working on a wiki page for characters/events/companies while they’re still fresh in your mind, if you want to do them. Also on that note, is anyone here familiar with wikiformats? There are help sites and editing guides, but they’re only helpful to a certain point, and I can admit that I’ve never done anything with wikipedia or related sources. Would a kind soul mind helping me out here or by dropping a PM?

[url:zetfv26h]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_edit[/url:zetfv26h]

To summarize a little, here’s some basic Wiki markup:

[code:zetfv26h]==This is a header==
===This is a sub-header===
===Here’s another sub-header===

”Italicized text”
”’Bold text”’
””’Italicized & Bold text””’

This provides an internal wiki link to the Corellian wiki page all on its own.
This will link to ‘Leia Solo Organa’ but just display ‘Leia’. Leia.

These will add this page into categories, for easy sorting and navigation:

To display a picture, first you have to upload it to the Wiki server, then link to it from your page:

Basic table formatting using wiki markup:

Place images here

Couple other useful tags:
<small></small> for smaller text (good for captions)
<s></s> for strikeout
<u></u> for underline
<pre></pre> for preserving formatting (basically the same as the [code] tags on this forum
<!– –> For leaving comments in your wiki markup that others can see when editing, but not viewing your page
[/code:zetfv26h]

Wikipedia is smart enough to recognize embedded html, javascript, css, and likely many other scripting languages. So if you don’t want to use Wiki markup, you definitely aren’t restricted to it. It just makes things purdy. Hope this helps a bit.
