I’m glad to see LotJ leading the field in Website Integration (in SWR at least!). If anyone has any additional ideas for integration between the website and the MUD, post it here!

My recommendation to the immortals: Check out [url:2o3k2rqh]http://mudgamers.com/[/url:2o3k2rqh]

For each game listed there, it gets it’s own flash client that you can embed in your webpage or access directly from that site. Pretty powerful little thing. (For a bit of cash, I’d assume) you can even have it customized. Though it’s pretty nice as-is, without the customization.

I like it, I hate the telnet link and would love to see a nicer embedded client.

All you gotta do is make an account there and submit the MUD.

I submitted our listing, hopefully they will approve it soon.

Also, after looking into it a bit I realized that we don’t need a listing to use the mud client. It’s a free client called FMud that they just embed onto their site…

You should probably still keep the stuff about the telnet port and hostname on the page, though, for people who want it.

      Agreed.
Some browsers probably don’t support that sort of imbedding, for one.

FMud gives me "Unable to connect: security error." when I attempt to use it to connect.

      Ah well.

Gives the security error to me as well, regardless of client used. (IE/Firefox)

Same here. Has anyone been able to connect, yet?

Another suggestion I would have for the website: Fix the formatting in the credits on the left hand side of the screen. It kind of looks ugly.
