Okay, we all know that SHORT skill can open doors. But I think it could stand to be a little more comprehensive. As follows
short <direction/exit name (to account for enter/exit)> [<open/lock/seal>]Firstly, it should be targettable to entrances and exits NOT in line with the compass. Example: The door of the senate manors on Coruscant.
Now, the secondary arguments:
Seal: scrambles the lock so that it stays shut until someone uses…
open: undoes seal.Note that seal bypasses rprogs, so that a good slicer can actually keep their captors from getting through their own door, barring cutting, or a slicer of some arbitrary relation levelwise to the sealer using open.
lock just locks a door that’s been shorted open, bypassing the need for said door’s code.note that the above arguments are optional. Short <direction> by itself will still just unlock the target door.

And a skill for engineers to weld a door shut, so not only slicers can seal doors too.
