Yes, I know this has been requested several times. By myself, and many other people. But I don’t see why it hasn’t been implimented yet, I mean how hard could making a blaster 2-handed? I’m no coder, nor am I a builder(And I hate building, personally).
How I see it, it’d be as simple as setting blaster that has the words, rifle, repeater, and carbine to two handed and adding a type into the makeblaster command. Increasing the rate of fire, and adding in an object to make them unique. Like cooling systems, or barrels. Or scopes.
I know this isn’t at the top of the list, but what IS at the top of the list I ask you? Several variations of this idea, and others like it have been posted, and submitted via the idea command I’m sure. But why hasn’t any of it been coded in? If it requires shutting the MUD down for a day or two, I’m sure no one would mind.
I don’t mean to sound in anyway assholic, or complainatory. But it’s what I think.

It’s easy to say "how hard could it be" when you don’t know how to do it yourself, believe me <!– s:P –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="

That being said, and I just spoke with someone tonight about combat, hopefully we’ll see some updates (including blaster classes) sooner or later!
