Can we get the old time format added back in? Why would I care what time it is somewhere else in the world? And if I did, there are plenty of websites for that…If there’s another command to pull up what time it is, in game (day light whatever) please let me know.

At least fix pawn shops if you’re going to leave the time format this way.

Yessssss. +1
You can still display "time of day" in your prompt, but I miss the old time command so much.

I say leave it as a prompt token. No one uses IC time, anyway — they say ‘good morning’ when it’s morning their time, ‘good evening’ when it’s night time where they are, and they always go by real time minutes and hours. It’s pretty useless, unfortunately. <!– s:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="

Except for planets and shops that have day night functions. With the time command you would know how long you where in dark and till shop opened. 60 seconds = 1 min (time command code wise)

I used to ‘time’ every time I wanted to say good morning/good evening. NOW I just say whatever it is in New York, because I don’t know if "night" is 10PM or 5AM. And even if you think the old time command is useless, you can’t say the new one is useful. If you want to know what time it is in Zimbabwe, go here[/url:2v6ef2mv]. But if you want to know what time it is in the MUD, you’re pretty limited to checking the MUD. Which, of course, is no longer an option.…Not to mention the fact that the idea of not being able to check the time is kind of silly. "I can see that it’s light out, but here in this technologically advanced society where a good portion of the player base is wearing chronometers which they bought from an NPC store and didn’t even make themselves I have no way to tell what the actual time may be." ..Can’t I at least use my engineer to construct a sundial in Monument Plaza? <!– s:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="

Y’all can praise, worship, and give offerings to Rojan now. He has reimplemented the old TIME command.
