I know disarm doesn’t work unless you’re approached, so why can kick/gouge/bash all work from range?

Maybe people have legs/fingers/bash-tools that extend into enemy asses/eyes/bodies.

But I agree, those skills should be set to close combat as well.

Kick should require approaching. Bashing should bring you approached to the victim. Gouging should stay as it is.

Wait, you can’t kick someone with your legs (which are a whole lot longer than your fingers) from a distance, but you can gouge someone from a distance? You’re unloading your repeater from across the room and go-go-gadget your fingers into their eyes? Sorry, that doesn’t make a damn bit of sense. Everything that would be considered hand to hand combat should only be used when approached. Kick, gouge, bash, rescue (if the person is engaged in close combat) disarm, vibro-blades, lightsabers (unless thrown or deflecting shots) etc..all close combat weapons.

All I know is that it’s impossible to tell how far away a person is, it’s only possible to know how close they are. Besides, maybe this’ll slow down blaster combat a bit.

I think blaster combat is a bit to fast, because i envision blaster combat to be firing shots at someone else who’s behind cover.
