      I feel like this is abused and use too much. I’ve even heard people say they have a script that automatically changes the name of their ship every time the complete a flight. I think that’s ridiculous. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there should be a bigger penalty than a measly 1k or even a limit to two renames-per-owner.

      I agree with Zak. That would probably fit somewhere in with slicers. Using their skill, they could change the name of a ship with a blank transponder card like on the first KOTOR game.

      Engineering companies rename ships pretty often to stay organized, navies rename squadron ships, and so on and so forth. Seems like more pain than gain here. Locate ship would just be even stronger if renaming couldn’t happen as often. So I think this is a solid No.
