Lets keep a cool megathread for discussing feats okay? Cool!

Here are some feats from Mark just to get us started but please fill this business up with ideas and discussion

      Ship Thief –
A feat for smuggling that would allow you to steal Gunboats and Corvettes.

      Recon Specialist –
A feat for Espionage that would allow someone to create a mini-log on their datapad by monitoring a single camera
on a planetside. It would require the individual to remain on the surface, but would allow them to record a video
log of events, including sound (based on the Ambience of the room, quiet rooms would allow you to catch everything
and as it got louder bits would be left out.

      Code Breaker –
A feat for slicing that would reveal the sequence of a hatchcode/doorcode in scrambled format.

      Genius –
A feat for science that would give you a 25% increased chance to successfully get a breakthrough.

      Advanced disguise –

It’s been brought up before, I think, but since we have a nifty new thread, here it is. Instead of advanced disguise being a skill, turn it into a feat.

      Genius –

I really like the idea of a way to increase your chances of getting a development, considering how long it can take and how expensive it can be.

Fake Transponder: A Smuggling/Espionage feat that would allow the smuggler/spy to fake the transponder signal on their ship, avoiding attempts to locate the ship they are currently aboard, redirecting the locate command to another ship of the same class perhaps except by exceptional slicers.

Smuggler/spy goes to the comm station of the ship and enters the faketransponder command. The syntax for this command would allow the smuggler/spy to set a temporary name and owner of the vessel. The syntax would go as follows: faketransponder [Fakeshipname] [Fakepilotname]

Ventriloquism: Gives a Diplomat(?)/Espionage the ability to throw their voice. They may yell as if yelling from any direction of their choice. If a room has exits n, s, e, ne, d, the ventriloquist may yell from any of those directions while in the room. Dunno what it could be used for but it sounds fun.

Overload: Allows a combat/BH to load more ammunition than normal into their ranged weapon.

Diplomatic Immunity: Allows a Diplomat to avoid NPC attack when committing a crime.

Perhaps a list of generalized feats as well? Feats that any character can take, regardless of levels in a class? If you have to associate it with a class, perhaps you can associate it with a level of 1 in the most fitting class. Things that are more lifestyle than they are specialized and requiring high amounts of training. They’re not really that well thought out, but just some ideas to toss around.

Spicer: A being who uses spice frequently. The benefits of using spice are increased (Maybe increased duration or increased effect), but the penalties are also increased.

Pilot: Someone who took to piloting quite easily. You are capable of landing and launching somewhat faster than other pilots. Either owing to the risky nature of your piloting or simply knowing how to fly.

Scrapper: Always more of a fighter, you are somewhat tougher than most. You have a small amount of bonus HP.

Master Gunner: High level piloting feat that lets you cycle your ship weapons fire rate faster (IE: Less time in between salvos.)

I’m not sure which class it would fall under, but have a feat where you don’t need a “black market” to strip a ship, only a garage.

Another feat I just thought of.  I noticed for combat there is a feat or two that helps with blasters.  There should be a feat for using blades or forcepikes as well.  Maybe something like you have a 5% chance to do double damage with a pike or something that would work like duelist with blades.
