I always have trouble remembering this. It’s in the help files but it’s nice to have a reference that has it all in one chart.
STAT QUICK REFERENCE RAISED BY RAISES Combat str, con str, con, hr Piloting dex dex Engineering int dex Bounty hunting con con Smuggling lck, cha lck Diplomacy cha, wis cha Leadership cha, wis cha Espionage dex, lck int Slicer wis, lck wis Medical int, wis wis Science int int, wis
Classes with only one raised by stat (such as science) receive 2 per level for that stat, classes with two, such as Leadership, receive 1 level per gain in each stat.

Cool as a quick reference, but the help files for the stats (except luck cause it’s mysterious) list the same things as well.

Hmm…
You ponder for some time, and things seem clearer.
You failed to learn anything.
You have now obtained science level 7!
You grow in wisdom!
Your gain is: 70 credits.
You gain 2750 science experience.
ponder
You begin to ponder life, the galaxy, and all within it.

Yes it can. Sometimes you will get a flash of green text saying something, like when you get a stat gain, but it just raises your HR and doesn’t give any stats. The “rush of adrenaline” message (or something like that).

I support changing this. The only thing stat training adds to the game is a time/credit sink.
EDIT: Typo.
EDIT 2: Wow, wrong thread. Where did my other tab go?
