Some RP Cosmetics to Droids

Aight, so I had my created droid and was thinking, ‘Gee, I wish I could make it talk.’

Now first, if you CAN indeed make it talk, please inform me how, cause I’ve done the whole BS of duty droid say blah blah blah, order droid say blah blah blah. None of that shit works. The only problem I can see and why it can’t be done at moment is because if you had droids talking on the Comms or in say it’d use it’s whole crazy ass name. So I was thinking, maybe an option to set a ‘short name’ for the droid for when it talks or does emotes or uses the Comms. Kinda like when you see people talking, it’s just ‘A Human male’.

Thusly! We could set our droids short names to whatever from An R2 Unit to Protocol Droid C-3PO or whatever and eliminate long ass names from screwing around and allow engineers and those with droids some extra added RP! Just my two cents cause I love my droid, just wish it wasn’t the strong silent type.

There was some wacky reason behind droids not being able to use says (it also applied to emotes but that got changed) but I can’t remember what it is. So yes, let my droids speak!

I agree, I absolutely love droids. I usually buy one of the NPC ones and make those talk, because it still works for them.
