what are feats really? they are for the most part, passive boosts for making a character unique. simple enough, so why no espionage feats? they don’t have to be complex mega feats that everyone wants…here are a few simple reworks that would fit the bill

cutter crafting-cutters you make have 20% bigger battery capacities

camera_sweep expert- sweeps you make will have a +40% chance for success

door cut expert- door cuts you make will have a +40% chance for success

you get the idea, sure they sound pretty similar, and those percentages could be changed, but you get the idea, these feats would be better then nothing…add some variety.

I think a more useful feat would just being able to make cutters anywhere.

When makebinders got put in, it came with the promise for a feat for making them lockable too like the old binders used to be.

I think that one either got forgotten or put on the far back burner.

(ID: 444) Makebinders skill added to Espionage

      Level 50 Espionage Skill

      Syntax: makebinders <binder name>

This skill allows players to construct their own bindings to restrain players.
A feat will soon be added to allow these binders to be locked with keycodes.
(Yes, I know it prompts you about a circuit board for lockable binders. That is
      coming soon).

Please report any bugs to Walldo.

NOTE: I also removed the lockable feature from currently-available binders.
Once the feat goes in, player-made items will be the only way to get lockable
      binders.

Didn’t they make it so that you can escape from keypad binders too? Making them… kinda useless?

Not really. Lets say there is a fight Avanga vs Shraik and Noble. Avanga stomps Noble but Shraik is still on the loose. Avanga binds Noble shraik run in aids noble and unbinds him. Avanga is back to 2v1 again. Lockable leaves noble out for the fight (not counting just out right perming)

What about a feat that allows an espi main to hear what is said into a comlink in average ambient rooms?

      That there would be dangerous.

How will I insult the Imperials while standing right in front of them? >:3 Man, I miss having an antagonizer like that. D:

In all honesty though, that might be interesting though. Like a level 150 espi feat?

You are good! I have a prototype for an ‘eavesdrop’ feat I worked on a while back but I hit a roadbump in adding -any- new feat (same reason the makebinders feat never found its way in). I’ll see if I can dig up what I wrote and get it working.

I’ve got 4 espy feats or so floating around but having trouble getting them not to work, in that they always happen regardless if you have it trained or not. Stay tuned!
