Just some things that I kinda thought of as I was wandering today.

      Starfighters:
      Fast Sub-light
      SLOW Hyperspeed
      Bad shields/armor/etc.

      Shuttles:
      Mid Sub-light
      Fast Hyperspeed
      Eh…

      Freighters:
      All over the place

      Capships
      Fast Sub-light
      Mid-fast Hyperspeed
      EXTREMELY LONG MANEUVER (10?)
And more touch-ups to combat vs. starfighters. I’d really like to see the MUD where a capship has to scramble starfighters to take down other fighters.

I’m not really getting the point of this. All ships already have a class assigned to them and most of the time their stats are understandable for the class. Starfighters move fast in sublight, cappies not so much etc.

      Just fine-tuning the balance. =p

      Simple, then:

      No turrets on capships.

That’s actually not a terrible idea, though it does cut down on the effectiveness of a fully-manned cappy vs. one person flying one.

It would effectively mean that if a fighter is at 0 distance to said capital ship, it’s nearly unkillable, as projectiles can’t engage a target at that range, and if the person piloting it has shipdodge, they can weave turbos. On the plus side, that would make ACTUALLY CAPTURING them a larger consideration.

I suggested no turrets on capital ships at the beginning of the timeline. D= I was laughed at.
