It would be interesting if slicers could access a history of a vessel. For example:
shiprecord [shipname]
Retrieving ship historical records…
Owner: Nightvaj Acquired: Date acquired Ship Name: Ship name
Owner: Owner before Nightvaj Acquired: Date acquired Ship Name: Ship nameAnd so on. I don’t know how far back a player should be able to see a ship’s history. Perhaps it varies with slicer skill? I don’t know. This would help track when ships have changed hands, useful to see if someone is associated with shady characters or help a player track down another player through their contacts. Or hell, whatever use it could be. I just thought it would be a neat idea.

Its a good idea and you’re not the first to suggest it. If locateship ever gets a big balance change it might be viable.

I like this. In a dreamy, ideal world it would link in with another post about ‘unique’ or famous ships that floated around the forum a while ago.

Just like how han solo has different transponders with various ship alias backgrounds and such for the falcon.
