did you know you could write over a datapad you just spent a million credits on to upgrade? i didn’t until just now when I was making stuff for shops for you players to buy.

i don’t know if it’s supposed to be a balance thing but if you dump credits into an upgrade I feel like maybe you tweaked it’s innards and it can’t be remodulated again. it’s stuck sorry you wasted a datapad/upgrade if you didn’t want that

i am talking about just the upgrades for spec master (above 4), not for every remodulation setting.

That’s a shitty lesson to learn the hard way. Sorry =[

I would prefer that I be able to adjust data pads considering you can get location bonuses.

i’ve seen people use multiple datapads set to different places/types

In every situation you’re assuming an abundance of resources. Why does there need to be code enforcement that limits options vs. just being more attentive in the future?

then what i am suggesting is something to confirm what you are doing since you just spent a million credits on the upgrade. “Launch confirm” “clear resident NOW” have this confirmation message.

Confirmation checks to stop you accidentally burning a ton of credits is nice.
