      Someone mentioned on OOC that they log into LotJ from a different port number than the one listed on the website because it lets them bipass school firewalls, does anyone know what all port numbers work for the game so maybe I can play while I’m in class?

      For my school at least, I can always play lotj with the same port. 5656

      They’re talking about using a proxy, not a different port number. Search on google how to set up a proxy for your mud client.

      Note: This may look suspicious to the IMMs, so be prepared to explain yourself. Also, in my experience, some proxy’s have heavy lag. Experiment with different ones until you find a zippy one.
