      Since the secure/slice skill has come out, it has gone through numerous adjustments.  I have a suggestion for another use it could have.  When shorting a door, most doors are pretty easy to short open.  Why not have secure and slice work the same way with doors as they do with turbolifts and ships?  It would make breaking into places much more difficult.

      I agree. It also allows an “ethical” slicer some rp. I like.

      On the contrary, I find short to be obsolete… it is never someone’s first port of call I think the security measures used in some builders are just ridiculous. If it has to be, make short a higher level and reduce security on buildings? If a sole slicer wants to break into the citadel, may his soul rest with hades. Or the star wars version of hades…. Claudius.
