Lookup Revamp

While I was writing a reply to the ship dismantling idea, it occurred to me that a slicer of considerable skill should be able to look up which ships are registered to you. You have encrypt and decrypt files, but really, what purpose does it serve other than hiding your either piss poorly written history (the great ones don’t get them encrypted).

So! I propose the higher the skill of the slicer, the more he can ‘lookup’. For instance. Level 100 slicer, will be able to see ships owned by that person. Level 125 slicer will be able to ships piloted and co-piloted by that person. Level 150 slicer is able to also look up what affiliation that person is currently attached to. This of course, -IF- lookup is adepted first (in other words, you can’t look up ships at level 100 without adept). ALSO, you would need a master set datapad, not just a slicer set. Just some further incentives to get slicers to encrypt files and hopefully drum down the master set datapads that are just passed around like two bit whores. I mean honestly, it says you don’t want to give them away, yet they are virtually the ONLY kind of datapad anyone ever has. Which will lead me to another topic.
