So, it’s a level 100 skill, right?
Well, I couldn’t hack any of the lifts I found in game until I was 146. Even after I made it there, which happened to be my max, I couldn’t hack several.
I expect it’s a builder thing that sets how difficult the lifts are, but…why make a level 100 skill that’s all but useless until you make it to 150? Could there be a way to randomize your success with lifthack, instead of them being set in stone that only a slicer of a certain level can get into them?
I understand that they have to be difficult to get into for safety reasons, but, since we’ve moved to bases not being a invulnerable safe place to be anyways, why make it so that lifts are still as hard to get into?Just my thoughts.

Some lifts are set to hacking level of 100, some 125 and some 150.

The idea is that main clans’ bases SHOULD be invulnerable to anyone but a slicer main (or a min-maxing espionage main). That means 150, not 125, not 100.

I thought bases weren’t supposed to be impenetrable fortresses that you could hide in forever and ever and ever, unless the odd 150 slicer happens to come along, which doesn’t always happen.

The Galactic Republic/Empire would have had a pretty well protected mainlift. Also, people with 150 slicer aren’t exactly a rarity. <!– s:P –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="

Actually, Troll. You’re out of date. We standardized clanbases, which can be found in HELP CLANBASES.

That’s weird then, because I found one that was "beyond my capabilities" when i’m level 146.
