I just recently tried to land My R-41 on a GR that was free floating around Kuat. (It’s was my clan’s GR) Anyway, you need to be within 25 units to land a ship on another, but as I slowly approached the GR, It would “bounce” me away before I got within 50 units. I tried multiple times before I had to go to bed, then had to regretfully return to base. I’m not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but wanted to bring it up. Because without tractor beams, it’s impossible to land on a moving target, or so it seems.
Please tell me if there was actually something I could’ve done, or not.

What do you mean “bounced”? Were you chasing the ship by targetting it and had auto track on? If you are on the same heading as another ship all you need to do is just be close to their speed (an r-41 is much faster than a gr-75) and spam landing. Also, dock has a much more agreeable range (300 units vs 30 units for landing) so if you get in range try that instead if you know the docking code.
