      After getting a week off for thanksgiving, heading back into school sucked. And now there’s only .. less-than-three-weeks left until we get a two week winter break. It makes it kind of hard to concentrate/stay awake/care/pay attention/go to school period. >_> Let’s all vote for december to be a holiday month period. <_< Everybody should just have to live off of thanksgiving leftovers for a month, and everybody should go home and chill out. No work. No school. That’d be the life.

      Okay. That’s the end of my rant. On to more interesting things.

      I’m curious, what’s everybody all do for the holidays that may or may not be unique? Do you forage through the tropics with a machete to get a Christmas pineapple, put up a real pine tree in your living room, get together with family, eat special food, go caroling? Or -actually- roast chestnuts on an open fire?! Who here celebrates a holiday other than Christmas?

      And most of all, who agrees the holidays were ten times better when you had zero responsibility and just got to tear open every present in sight?!

      Just curious, just curious…

      At any rate. Happy Holidays, y’all.

      My family just kind of half-asses Christmas now that I’m not really a kid anymore, we still do a tree and all that, but my parents are a lot less fun ’cause I’m all grown up now. The past few years have been kinda lame, having to deal with my ex’s family for two months in a row was kind of a drag. This year should be a lot better, though… at least I’m hoping it will be <_<.

      And yes, I agree that holidays were a lot better when I was younger.

      And happy holidays to everyone (>_>; totally forgot to put that in the first go-round)

      Christmas x3. One at home, one with mom’s side of the family, one with dad’s side of the family.

      Though we haven’t had a tree at home the last couple years because the metal desk thingy is in the place where we used to put the tree.

      And yes, it’s not as cool when you’re older.

      I think Drew Carrey is awesome. I used to watch his show, but now I’m at work when he’s doing price is right. <!– s:( –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!– s:( –>

      You like Drew Carrey more than the holidays? xD

      Dude, what I think sucks about Christmas now is that on a minimum wage budget, it’s hard to surprise people with Christmas presents. ._.&quot; You can’t just say, &quot;hey, can I borrow some money?&quot; &quot;What for?&quot; &quot;Uhhhh… &gt;_&gt;&quot;

      I love the turkey and mashed potatoes and corn and mac and cheese and stuff at Christmas. &lt;333 It’s like.. Thanksgiving 2.0. xD

      We normally do Turkey on Thanksgiving and Ham on Christmas. But both are huge family dinners.

      Festivus is great because you air your grievances with each other before you eat. And instead of a Chrimstas tree you have a Festivus pole.

      Being that I’m essentially a modern gypsy, I don’t really celebrate things. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll mooch off of other people, but I have no holiday spirit, or whatever they’re calling it now. Actually. No. I take that back. I celebrate mooch-day.

      My dad, being as weird as he is, insists on cooking a massive prime rib dinner. For the three of us. We eat prime rib for a week after christmas.

      And the day of christmas, we watch the marathon of A Christmas Story on TV. All day.

      And randomly quote it the rest of the year. &quot;YOU USED UP AAAAALLLLL THE GLUE…ON PURPOSE!!!&quot;

      I only celebrate holidays if I’m getting something. Any other time, I don’t care.

      Yes it is all about me. You want a present? Get a job sucka! =P
