I got something new here… Get ready… How about… How about one of these suggestions could actually get into the game?

I have seen dozens of awesome ideas in this discussion… Where are they?

The staff are doing more important things like working on plots and getting out bugs. Putting in new content/abilities is sort of low on the ‘to do’ list.

While I didn’t bother to think of every implementation EVER, I can’t think of a single coding project that was directly off of the forums. If a coder likes your general idea, runs with it, and never credits you for it, consider yourself very lucky. If they bother to credit you or ask you about the idea(s), start selling tickets to yourself as a "lucky shrine."

Lockinfo was put in because I asked for it. That’s the only thing that comes to mind.

Immortals, coders or otherwise, often express a lot of interest in ideas both their own and from players. Those are usually the more difficult to find ones at the bottom of the page.

(Like my making slicers more useful one that everyone liked. <!– s:P –><!– s:P –>)

He raises a valid point, Walldo. There have been a lot of really good suggestions, and the imms shoot them down with little to no explanation. It’s not like he was asking why HIS ideas hadn’t been implemented, maybe you could stop being such a condescending douche about it.

Although, he was a bit of a douche himself. I guess they cancel eachother out.

Hey avanga good to see you will still rush to attack every thing I do always <!– s:D –><!– s:D –> When exactly are imms shooting ideas down with little to no explanation? There certainly are plenty ideas imms say ‘no’ to, I will give you that. From what I remember they do explain why an idea wouldn’t work or isn’t feasible, although there has been a case or two where anna says "this is my mud and I say no" which is well within her prerogative.

      See ya

We occasionally implement ideas from the forums, if they’re good ideas and are able to be implemented without diverting us from more major projects (like OLC languages).
