For forcers (Awakened)
‘You feel a dull pain’ – A PC in the same system as you has died. – ‘A small frown momentarily crosses $n’s face.’ (Others see)
‘You feel a sharp pain.’ – A forcer in the same system has died. – ‘$n winces slightly.’
‘You feel an excruciating pain.’ Someone closely related to you has died. (I.E. master/apprentice, can be anywhere in galaxy) – ‘$n groans, a look of excruciating pain crossing his/her/it’s face’

I’d rather see the mud stop crashing upon a Forcers death, allowing all sorts of crazy antics to come from it <!– s:lol: –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!– s:lol: –>
After that is fixed, then add this in..cause it’d be pretty cool imho, especially if you had some sort of link already with the person

I like the idea, but I’d also say that it would be cool if they could sense mass mob killings–i.e. grenade going off; Ben Kenobi sensing Alderaan getting wtfpwnt, etc. So many need to die within so many seconds for a forcer to sense if they’re in the same system; a larger amount need to die and all forcers would sense it.

Or you could just have an imm command for RP events
forcerecho <message>
and
Forcerecho <level> <message><level> is optional, will only show the message to those of a force level of that and above.

It’s a good idea that I’ve wanted to see something similar of implemented for a long while. Although not all forcers are naturally attuned to "the living force" and not all are going to care enough to feel the pain, like dark forcers might sense it but keep composed, or even smirk. You know, if "awareness"(already a skill name, I know) was a Jedi-only skill(Jedi feel the pain, Sith cause the pain) more people might opt for Jedi RP as opposed to Sith tank skills.

Outside of a CG, light side has the better skill set, anyways. Mask is potentially the best utility skill ever, and stasis gives Jedi the one-shot-stop against nonforcers that a Sith can’t ever match. Force heal is really underrated when fighting against a Sith, anyways; when you’ve both knocked out every limb possible and have sanc/shockshield/protect, one force heal equals out to a dozen or two rounds of damage.

One force heal doesn’t equal a dozen or two rounds. Maybe a dozen or two rounds of damage from a level 5 droid in the gym. Also, Mask only works if you continue moving, the odds of someone seeing you in the room with mask tend to be rather high. I do agree about stasis, but with the BH feat tossed in there (the only people a jedi should really worry about not being able to take down in a round or two), its no longer that powerful. Now, obscure…thats where my money would be on a skill that is extremely useful heh

-Bump-
With the new force Additions, I think this idea should be tossed in there too. Just for fun.

If this echos to the room, the messages would become widely recognized as with meditate, and anyone who sees them would know the person is a forcer. Then there would be asshats who would make a big deal in game over someone frowning at the wrong moment.
I like the general idea, though. There’s definitely roleplay potential here, but let’s leave it to individual forcers to decide how to react.
