[b:3911iy48]Syntax:[/b:3911iy48] STRIP (ship)
Must be done inside a [b:3911iy48][Garage][/b:3911iy48] room, you must own the ship too or be empowered to do as such by your clan.
dismantle times vary, so do parts gained form stripping
Small ships / 15 minutes / 400 hull
Medium ships / 30 minutes / 700 hull, 50 engine
Large ships / 45 minutes / 1500 hull, 160 engine, 90 circuit, 30 weapons
Heavy ships / 1hr 15 minutes / 3000 hull, 400 engine, 260 circuit, 150 weaponsThe times and gains are just a suggestion, they can obviously be altered to something better, but that’s the general idea.

Erm, to recover resources, hell even some form of RP could be possible with it.
But rather than WHY, WHY NOT?

I don’t see why not. Only thing is I would think you would get a certain amount of hull, circuits, weapons and engine parts regardless of the ship size. Just of course, you would only get so much pending on the size.
But yea, has RP potential, could also open up the ability for clans to potentially revoke ships in lieu of payment for crimes. IE. the Imperials arrest you for whatever reason, charge you however many credits. You don’t have them, but you do have a small ship you don’t use. Taken, stripped, released. *shrugs* Could be used in other situations as well.

This would make more sense if you were doing it on STOLEN ships, rather than ships you own.

Stripping stolen ships is brutal, imo, but I think it’d give smuggling clans something to do, and it’d give the major clans something to police. The MUD really needs more crimes.

To many bullshit rules against crime clans, there’s no middle, it’s all against them.
