I always see the pink covering armor, is it possible so that color codes can be used in the covering armor?
Ex.
[color=#000000:2xzcwsaf]A being in black armor[/color:2xzcwsaf]as opposed to
[color=#FF40FF:2xzcwsaf]A being in black armor[/color:2xzcwsaf]

That would be neat, if possible.
Along the same lines, I’d like to suggest some sort of prompt at a certain level to remind people who haven’t set their publictitle. I’m not sure why, but it drives me crazy seeing "Name is standing here." in pink.

Some people like keeping it pink, or at least the few I’ve talked to about it personally cause it does bother me too. Kinda aside the point yet still about it, if you GREET someone AS something, does your name show up as pink? I don’t think it shows them your publictitle, which is a rather clear hint that they did not greet you with their proper name. I’d like a change to this! Who’s with me?

If you never set your public title, your name will show up in pink, even if you gave them your true greet.

There was something suggested a little while back to change this, but it kind died without much attention if I remember correctly. It was worked into the advanced disguise skill and allowed you to set an alias and publictitle to go with your disguise. I thought it was really awesome. I don’t remember what the topic was called, though, maybe I’ll go hunting for it later.
The other thing that bothers me about ‘greet as’ing is that you can dub over it. People can tell instantly if you gave them a fake name. It’s code abuse, I know, so it’s against the rules, but so was using group to see races through disguise/restrings, and that didn’t stop people.
As for colored restrings, I lovelovelovelove that idea. It’d add a little more variety between restrings, and there -ought- to be variety, armor can vary just as much as faces can. At the moment the only colored restring you can find is the Tusken raider armor.. what makes it so special? =[

I never set my public title for my alts, so my name is always pink. Real or fake.
On topic though, I heavily dislike the idea of colored restrings. The Tusken Raider garment is probably because some builder decided to add a color tag to it and no one bothered to change it. As far as talk is concerned, who is speaking does not need any color. It’s fine as it is with the dull white color tag. I probably wouldn’t be as against just the actiondesc having color, but still am not a huge fan of it. Maybe it’s just the fact I do not like my screen being filled with the color styles that some of you consider "good" concepts of color combos.
