Cause clan leaders are never well protected.
Also, despite the canon-ness of an Emperor with a clone chamber, wouldn’t clan leaders being able to keep themselves alive indefinitely take away part of the fun of being a public figure?

Though I’m not in support of the idea that only specific clan leaders should get cloning access, its not true that its indefinite. Clones are pretty likely to fail most of the time, and if not, you can only have a certain number.

I think there should be a mob somewhere that will sell you a navchart to kamino for a pile of credits and then once you get there have a very expensive set cloning price and use buyclone. Or if you didnt want everyone to have charts you could make a shuttle, like the one that used to be on roche to take you to Korriban, that costs a great deal of credits to use.

I’m glad Buyclone is gone. It always had too high of a success rate. Rumor has it that during the Crimson Sect timeline Tirhin was on his 13th clone before a bug ate the entire pbase. Kamino, I think, should be publicly accessible. Really, the only thing there is a cloning chamber, and maybe a few cybernetics. Not all that much to hide, if you ask me. Besides, in canon, the only reason that Kamino wasn’t in the Republic’s database is because Tyrannus deleted it.
I would expand more, but it’s CG time.

Tirhin was on his..second. The first was when I shot down three Neru Basers and Emily jumped on her force ghost, came into the sector real far out and transed onto my ship. I forget the second. Probably much like the first.

If you listened to anything Neru Bus said, you’re either very gullible, very naive, or some lethal mix of the two.
But this is all very off topic. Back to clones. I think the waking up as a youth char has some merit to it, unless there’s a way to put a timer/flag on a cloned player so depending on how long ago he was cloned, his char will wake up a different age.

It would be neat to have a sort of timer on youth flags anyway. My only problem with youth characters is that it places a forced system of aging on all players, since there is no set time scale on lotj everyone just does their own thing.

Actually, dispite not having a youth flag on my current character. I age him, somewhat. Just recently I aged him about 10-11 years or so. I actually kinda dislike the fact that no one ages their characters, except like a handful of people. Everyone likes to remain 18-20ish all the time no matter what happens..I think a temporary youth flag would work with clones too.
