As I understand it, you miss clan payroll cycles if you’ve got your bot flag on when payroll happens. My suggestion is to eliminate that restriction. A lot of people legitimately bot for clan projects (like buildship, makearmor, and develop). It doesn’t seem fair that I have to waste electricity and the component lifespan of my computer if I’m not even getting my damn virtual paycheck every month!
Or, as a secondary suggestion, completely rethink clan payrolls! Or do away with credits altogether. LOTJ needs a new communist era of prosperity.

Yeah this was added several TL’s ago to combat people botting study and still getting paid. No matter how much people argued that ship builders should get paid too, they still kept it.

The idea is if your not actively near the computer you should not be getting paid. I am on the fence for ship builders because most of the time they only get on their ship builder alt to bot ships anyway and then get on their main when done.
Either way the fix is clear don’t use your bot flag. 😀

alternatively …some people use the botflag specifically to avoid clan pay during certain times (development for example.)
