In the UK, there tends to be a group of films that are always on over Christmas, however I find that since they’re always on, I tend to well, never watch them even if I’ve never actually sat down and watched them. However, here’s some that I have.
1) The Great Escape – Yeup, on worldwide, every year and still a great film.
2) The Dambusters – A very, very good film for Star Wars fans to watch as certain parts of it may look slightly familiar. Plus, the theme tune is a real classic.
3) Zulu – Probably not shown too often in America, but a great old war film and Michael Caines first!
Anyone else got some (old?) classics that are on this time of year that they want to share?

Again, these may be UK specific.
"Hook"
Back to the Future.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(I think on this one..bad memory, so maybe it was just this year. <!– s:P –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Razz" /><!– s:P –>)Uhhh…There are loads I always complain about, but those three come to mind.
Never even /heard/ of the Dambusters though.

You’ll probably know the music[/url:2zjh7nqq] more than the film perhaps? They play it almost every year on the Last Night of The Proms.
