Does anyone use a combat droid, because every time I’ve had one made they are so uselessly irrelevant because of their movement deficiency. Engineering and Protocol droids seem to do their jobs well but combat droids are terrible. Also if your droid happens to die, you lose all the equipment you’ve supplied them with where as any other mob you can loot its corpse. Fixes to these problems would be beautiful to see.

My biggest bitch with Combat Droids right now is the drawing/holstering problem which has been around forever. I posted a Mantis about it back in June, and it’s still an issue.

Basically, when a droid draws weapons, they don’t wield them. Instead, they go to the droid’s inventory forcing you to duty droid wear weapon (twice if you have them dual wield).
