[quote:25mmfpuv](RPC) *Kirash: How about this. "Armor Descs." That way, when you look at someone who is in restrung armor, it’ll show a description instead of always seeing "You see nothing special about him."

Not so much dubbing it as letting the Engineer add a description to it during the creation process, being that a mass production of the same armour should in effect all look alike and not give the purchasing customer a real choice in what it looks like unless they request custom armour. To add a little bit of uniqueness to every armour there could be some sort of ‘damage worn’ systems added to them. As you use the armour and it keeps getting damaged, every repair adds to some hidden counter that affects the armour in no way but to amend its look condition "It looks untested in battle and still shines" "It is battle worn and covered in nicks and scratches" "Holes and slashes decorate the armour", perhaps even leading to deteriorating armour values. It could be slow and very minor but it would introduce another money sink and make it where combat types have to think about ‘upgrading’ their armour if they keep seeing too much combat.
