The Empire responds to the Rebel Alliance reveal
The Imperial Cog spins slowly onto a black screen, the usual fanfare replaced by the steady beat of drums. As the logo fades to show the interior of the almost cavernous Throne Room guarded by Imperial Royal Guards, the drum beat fades considerably. Lining the pathway to the stairs are hooded beings in dark robes, and filling the entire room are Imperial Stormtroopers bent to one knee before the throne. Atop the stairs on the throne is a human male wearing a silver crown and lorrdian robes. "Citizens of the galaxy, heed my words. We are entering into a time of tribulation. Groups of terrorists from around the galaxy have effectively declared war on the galaxy, on law and order, and on my Empire. More than a decade ago, the first beginnings of the Empire defeated the old Republic and their Jedi who have been locked in a hundred year war with the Sith that has never really ended. Now they return, intent on continuing that war and throwing us all back into the chaos that scorched entire star systems, my home planet included. Why should the Empire give ground to would-be conquerors who lost control?" He stands, gesturing to the viewers. "The age of the Jedi and the Republic is over: the Sith are the rightful rulers of this galaxy. We will not allow the Jedi to infect this galaxy with their delusional ideals." He lifts up his palm towards the ceiling as he states, "For the Empire." The Stormtroopers stand from their kneeling positions, raising their E-11 Rifles as their warcry fills the hall, "FOR THE EMPIRE!"
