Naboo and Tatooine fall claim to the Empire

A nearby holoscreen turns on and displays the Imperial Cog. Underneath, the [Imperial News Network] logo is displayed. It fades out to a female human news anchor seated behind a desk. She takes her datapad in hand and addresses the camera, "Hello. Gemma Teel for Imperial News Network. Today has seen a major victory for the Empire as their Navy engaged with Rebel forces over Mon Cala. "The scene changes to show several fleets of Imperial cruisers coming out of hyperspace over the water world, with a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers leading the charge as they approach two fleets of MC80s. Green turbolaser fire is exchanged between the ships before one of the Rebel fleets breaks from orbit and disappears into hyperspace, the remaining fleet destroyed before it can make it out. "The Empire has also brought Naboo and Tatooine to heel under its banner, which were worlds formerly under the Trade Federation before the infamous Jedi Master Oola Seela and her Outer Rim Coalition disrupted the local governments."

The scene changes to Tatooine and then Naboo, showing a Subjugator cruiser in orbit. On the surface below, a Stormtrooper with a red pauldron and another with a yellow pauldron wave their arms towards the sky as they talk into their trail as they impact the ground, hitting military installations and settlements alike. "Unfortunately this does come with a price, as Imperial forces were forced to evacuate Ithor, a rim world close to Alliance territory that Major Reko has deemed a 'waste of space'." The scene changes to the lush planet of Ithor, where Imperial troops and beings with lightsabers clash in Tafanda spaceport. The scene changes again to a remote outpost not far from the main city, Imperial Stormtroopers chaining Wookiees to a large metal post and clamping timed detonator packs around the encampment and the prisoners. "Move, let's go!" The one hollers and they all run aboard waiting transports that close up and soar away as the Wookiees let out a pitiful howl. The scene changes back to the inside of the news room, where the human female clears her throat as she looks up from her datapad. "Despite this setback, the Director of Research and Development, Professor Tormo, is confident the Empire will take back control of Ithor, as it is a major institution of learning in the galaxy. This is Gemma Teel with INN, signing off."
