Empire Declares War
A war on crime has been declared by the Galactic Empire.
Broadcasting Network [Coruscant]: The Imperial Cog spins onto a black screen with drums sounding off in the background, the usual trumpets absent. The scene changes to the Imperial Throne room, with Imperial Royal Guards at the entrance, and the occupied Throne visible just above the long stairs that lead up to them. The camera focuses on the figures standing in front of the stairs: a red-haired lightly freckled human female in crimson plated lorrdian robes, an Imperial Naval Officer, and a yellow-haired human male in black STC armor, his armor badly scarred and bandages wrapped around him in various places. The red-haired female has the camera's focus as she steps forward, her piercing blue eyes flashing in rage. "The Crimson Dawn has been a thorn in my and the Empire's side and I have wanted to kill them for a long time. But I held back, and I held back from glassing Wroona. But the cowards that they are, attempted to kill a hunter who cleaned up their filthy mess, killed the Grand Moff in the process and injured an Inquisitor."
The camera shifts to focus exclusively on the human female, her teeth flashing as she rests her hand on her chest armor plate. "It is no secret that I, Lady Esven-Vel Irric-and-Oki, wish to personally see to the death of all those who oppose the will of the Empire. These cowards have declared war on us with their actions, inciting people against the Empire on Wroona, attempting to kill small-time criminal hunters, and most importantly, murdering our own people. And so I want it known today, that I bring the full force of the Imperial Armed Forces with me to exact my rage. We will no longer allow those who oppose the will of the Emperor to impede galactic progress, commit cowardly bombing attacks, or press veiled barbs to those who aide development of lesser worlds! We will no longer allow them to spread their filthy criminal ways across Wroona OR the rest of the galaxy." Her features soften for a moment to a satisfied smile as she states, "This is a war on crime, a war that the Crimson Dawn has started. I will now finish it."
